My Major Qualifying Project (MQP) for WPI.
Hooping is a 3D space racing game. Players fly customizable spaceships through a series of obstacles along a course of "hoops". The player can turn the ship in all three dimensions, instead of moving along a flat track as in most traditional racing games.
I worked on the technical development of the game, where we used Terathon Software's C4 Engine and C++. In addition to working a lot on the game design, I worked on the ship's control and movement, the pointer arrow in the HUD display, and the pirate and gravity (e.g. planets and black holes) obstacles.
